Waste Characterization Study (1992)


The 1992 Washington State Waste Characterization Study is a six volume study of Washington's disposed waste stream.

The study divided the state into three Waste Generation Areas (Central Puget Sound, Western, and Eastern) and sampled various waste generator types in the residential, commercial, industrial, and self-haul sectors. The State Summary is a compilation of all the waste generation areas and generator types.
