The Status of the TMDLCurrent StatusThis site or the Spokane River Forum site (www.spokaneriver.net) will provide meeting minutes and other updates (future meetings, etc) as they become available. April 5, 2011Meeting announcements: The alternate limits subcommittee meeting will be held on April 14, 2011 at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife office in Spokane Valley. The next full subcommittee will be held on May 6, 2011 at the Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District. Meeting agendas and call-in numbers will be provided at the Spokane River Forum web site (www.spokaneriver.net) when they are developed. April 1, 2011A bioavailable phosphorus (BAP) subcommittee meeting was held at Ecology’s Eastern Regional Office. The purpose of the meeting was to review the BAP findings from a presentation by Dr. Mike Brett of the University of Washington and learn what additional information is necessary for incorporating BAP data into permits. The following handouts were provided or referenced at the meeting. Meeting minutes will be posted when they are completed.
February 24, 2011A Spokane River TMDL Implementation Advisory Committee meeting was held at the Washington State University Extension Service in Spokane. The meeting clarified timeframes for permit issuance and it was determined that subcommittee meetings were needed for further discussions of bioavailable phosphorus and alternate modeled permit limits. The following handouts were provided or referenced at the meeting. The meeting minutes are also provided. December 16, 2010A Spokane River TMDL Implementation Advisory Committee meeting was held at the Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District. The purpose of the meeting was to further discuss development of the nutrient trading framework and provide an overview of the bioavailable phosphorus study.
