Spills Program

Community Outreach

Ecology works with local communities to provide for coordinated and effective response and to expand the network of resources available to protect human health and the environment from the risks associated with oil and hazardous substance spills.

Accountability to Citizens

Our job is to protect, preserve and enhance Washington’s environment and ensure that our air, land and water are safe for both people and animals.    We take accountability to Washington’s citizens seriously. There are opportunities for public comment on our work.
