Restoration ProjectsThis page summarizes restoration projects conducted by Ecology and our partners in order to recover natural resources. Restoration Projects are funded in three ways: 1. Projects are paid for by the responsible party. Link to list of projects paid for directly. 2. Projects are paid for by money which has been deposited by the responsible party into sub-accounts of the Coastal Protection Fund (CPF). Link to projects paid for by the CPF. The four sub-accounts are as follows:
3. Projects are also funded from an account in which
spill penalties are deposited. The money from this
account is used to supplement the sub-accounts listed above.
