The Dungeness Water Working Group is a broadly representative committee meeting with Ecology staff to evaluate options for water supply and to help draft the instream resources protection and water management rule. There will be many opportunities for interested members of the public to ask questions and participate in these discussions. Extensive public outreach is planned before any formal decisions are made.
This web page will provide you with information on the progress of the Working Group, including agendas, brief meeting summaries, presentations, and handouts. You can also view the archive page for information on past meetings.
Ecology will be postponing the Dungeness Water Working Group meetings till October. Instead we will meet individually with the groups represented to discuss the rule and exchange. The groups we have so far set up meeting dates with are the realtors, rotary and chamber of commerce. We will also meet with the well drillers and other groups.
