The Universal Waste Rule establishes alternative, streamline waste management standards in place of most of the Dangerous Waste Regulations chapter 173-303 WAC, except for WAC 173-303-050, 173-303-145, and 173-303-960. Universal Waste categories of lamps include flourescent tubes, high density lamps (mercury vapor, metal halide, high pressure sodium), compact flourescent lamps, neon lamps and any other lamps that are dangerous waste. |
