| Short Description |
Leader Lake Dams - The Leader Lake project is an off-channel irrigation reservoir located 5 miles west of the town of Okanogan on Tallent Creek. This report provides background information, a description of the project, results of the May 6, 1998 inspection by the Dam Safety Office, engineering evaluation and analyses of the design of the project, and required remedial actions based on the findings from the current inspection. In general, the Leader Lake Dams are well constructed and maintained. The results of the field inspection and engineering analyses indicate that the facility meets current engineering standards for dam design and construction. A few minor operation and maintenance deficiencies were discovered during the inspection that need to be corrected to ensure continued safety at the facility. | |||
