Short Description

The Washington Departments of Fish and Wildlife, Ecology and Transportation, with participation from interested tribes, have cooperatively developed this guidance in order to improve the ecological benefits from compensatory mitigation for project impacts to wetlands, water quality, and fish and wildlife habitat. The intent of this guidance is to represent consensus on mitigation policy among the disciplines and the agencies responsible for evaluating, approving, implementing and enforcing aquatic resource mitigation.
