Abstract Long Description

In 2001, the Solid Waste and Financial Assistance Program combined its four regional newsletters into one statewide quarterly newsletter. The newsletter provides a mechanism to relay important information to public works departments, health districts, private recyclers and other clients and stakeholders. All SWFAP staff and local government personnel are encouraged to contribute articles to help readers stay current on legislative matters, share program successes and ideas, and announce upcoming meetings. The newsletter is sent to over 800 individuals and organizations across the state; those parties with e-mail addresses receive their copy electronically. The Closed-Loop Scoop can also be found on the Ecology SWFAP Homepage.
