Short Description

Puget Sound Trajectory Analysis Planner (TAP) is a computer-based tool that investigates the probabilities that spilled oil will move and spread in particular ways within a particular area. TAP does this by assessing hundreds of site-specific spill trajectories. The Puget Sound TAP Technical Document describes the TAP methodology and trajectory modeling behind TAP, as well as the accuracy and limitations of TAP.
