| Abstract | Long Description |
The Skagit and Pend Oreille Rivers are listed on the Federal Clean Water Act, Section 303(d) List for violations of water quality standards for the following parameters in fish tissue: Skagit River--4,4′-DDE, 4,4′-DDT, Alpha BHC, and Total PCBs; and Pend Oreille River--Aldrin. By request of the Washington State Department of Ecology′s Water Quality Program, these rivers will be assessed to determine whether or not they should remain on the 303(d) list. The listed parameters will be analyzed in fish tissue and the results compared to the criteria specified by Ecology′s Water Quality 303(d) Listing Policy. |
