Ecology amends the Dangerous Waste Regulations every two to four years to update the regulations to improve waste management in Washington. The rule amendments for the current rulemaking incorporate newer federal requirements, improve some state requirements and implement the Hazardous Waste Facilities Initiative. This document describes and explains the current rulemaking process and contains all of the public comments that were submitted on the proposed amendments as well as Ecology's responses. | |
