In early May 2004, the state Department of Ecology will issue draft 30-year plans for handling and reducing solid and hazardous waste, and reducing toxic-substance use, as part of the Beyond Waste project. Ecology welcomes and encourages interested parties to give feedback on the draft plans in a number of convenient ways. The Department will make provisions for e-mail and Web-site responses, as well as written comments. (Also see abstract below) | |
