Short Description

This document is the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) for the Wind River Watershed. The basic implementation concept for achieving temperature reductions in the Wind River Watershed is that existing programs and requirements, if fully implemented, should result in meeting the plan targets.

This document provides the detail of how monitoring of water quality and implementation activities will be used to track progress as well as indicate when adaptive management procedures need to be employed. Adaptive management methods will be used to quickly identify whether additional effort or focus from existing programs is needed. If adaptive management methods demonstrate that existing programs are not adequate, new programs and actions will be developed.
