| Short Description |
Washington State is working hard to determine if our strategies to improve water quality are effective. The state is just beginning to monitor programs to assess the effectiveness of nonpoint source controls, but we are still years away from making a final determination. However, in some places we can show that water quality is improving. Success stories are a great way to illustrate site-specific water quality improvements. The success stories in this publication are samples of those that have been received through an active solicitation to local governments, tribes, and special purpose districts. These success stories were collected during 2002. | |
