The Department of Ecology is proposing to issue a general permit to cover Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO). The old dairy general permit will expire in March 2005. The Department of Ecology has revised the permit and is proposing to reissue the permit on March 2, 2005. You are invited to review and comment on the draft permit and fact sheet from December 1, 2004 to January 28, 2005. The Department of Ecology will host four workshops and public hearings on its proposed permit. | |
