The Wallula PM10 Maintenance Plan serves as a request to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to redesignate the Wallula PM10 nonattainment area to attainment. It is also a plan to maintain the federal health standard for PM10 in the area for 10 years after redesignation. PM10 is particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of 10 micrometers or less. | |
