The Washington State Department of Ecology encouraged the public to comment on the Modification of the Hanford Facility Resource Conservation (RCRA) Permit, Dangerous Waste Portion for the Treatment, Storage, and Disposal of Dangerous Waste - The Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Unit-Specific Conditions. On August 31, 2005, the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE) submitted design package information for Ecology review and approval and incorporation into the WTP Permit. A Responsivenss Summary was prepared for this comment period. |
