Chapter 173-350 WAC, Solid Waste Handling Standards was adopted in 2003 to apply to non-municipal solid waste handling facilities and activities that manage solid waste. Summary of the rule changes adopted on May 10, 2005: This rule amendment changes the definitions of clean soils and dredged material and contaminated soils and dredged material. It also changes the current approach to managing soil that contain soils containing contaminants. The intent of this amendment is to provide greater certainty about the definitions and a more consistent statewide regulatory system. Effective Date: This amendment to Chapter 173-350 WAC goes into effect on June 10, 2005. | |
