The Department of Ecology (Ecology) is proposing adoption of a new rule implementing RCW 173-900. The proposed rule provides establishment requirements for a convenient, safe and environmentally sound system for collection, transportation and recycling of electronic products in Washington State. As required under RCW 34.05, Ecology is developing and issuing this Implementation Plan as part of the rule adoption process. Ecology will use the information developed in the Implementation Plan as required by law to ensure that the proposed rules are consistent with legislative policy. | |
