The Washington State Department of Ecology is required to produce this quality system report, as specified in the agency′s Quality Management Plan.

The quality system is a structured and documented management system that provides the framework for planning, implementing, documenting, and assessing environmental data operations, as well as for carrying out required quality assurance and quality control activities. The quality system encompasses both management and technical activities, and it requires the active participation of all employees.

The intended audience for this report is the agency′s deputy director, executive management team, and other interested parties.
