Ecology held a comment period to get public input on a proposal to build a temporary cover over part of the T Tank Farm at Hanford. The project′s purpose is to inhibit the infiltration of rain and melting snow into the soil and significantly reduce the downward migration of a plume of contamination in the soil at the T Tank Farm. The comment period was from April 8 to May 7, 2007. | |
