The 2007 Legislature passed Substitute House Bill 1761. This bill directed the Department of Ecology to prioritize Model Toxics Control Account (MTCA) funding to clean up hazardous waste sites and prevent creation of future hazards due to improper disposal of toxic wastes, and submit a report. This report is a high-level summary of the ten-year financing plan for the State Toxic Control Account (STCA) and the Local Toxic Control Account (LTCA). | |
