The Hanford Site Air Operating Permit, Revision D adds a new license to the permit for Environmental Assessment Services' sampling work. This work is being completed at the Applied Process Engineering Laboratory. The new license regulates air emissions that result from preparing and analyzing samples of water, air, plants, and animals from Hanford. The laboratory's emissions could slightly increase radioactivity over what is already in the environment. | |
