Short Description

The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) proposes to remove Yttri-Wozow site also known as US DOJ DEA (United States Department of Justice/Drug Enforcement Administration), from the state′s Hazardous Sites List. The Yttri-Wozow site was cleaned up under the Voluntary Cleanup Program. Ecology has determined that the remediation work of the Yttri-Wozow site meets the substantial requirements of the Model Toxics Control Act and therefore does not pose a threat to human health or the environment. Comments will be accepted December 29, 2008 - January 20, 2009.
