Fidalgo Bay has been identified by the Washington State Department of Ecology under the Toxics Cleanup Program′s Puget Sound Initiative for focused sediment cleanup and source control. Previous sediment quality investigations have indicated that contaminants have exceeded the Washington State Sediment Management Standards Chapter 173-204 WAC (Ecology 1995). The purpose of this combined Sampling and Analysis Plan and Quality Assurance Project Plan is to conduct a sediment investigation to characterize the sediment quality of Fidalgo Bay, Anacortes, WA
