The Washington State Department of Ecology and the Port of Tacoma are entering into an agreement to clean up part of the Atofina Chem 3009 Taylor Way Log Yard site. Ecology and the Port would like to remove the waste from the onsite landfill. The waste would go to a permitted landfill off site. The public is invited to review and comment on the investigation and cleanup documents for the site. Comment period is November 10 to December 10, 2008.
