Short Description

Bear, Evans, and Cottage Lake Creeks are too warm with low dissolved oxygen. These conditions may be harming salmon and trout (salmonids) which need cold water to survive. This report documents Ecology′s Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) study for temperature and dissolved oxygen in the Bear-Evans Watershed. It also outlines the strategy of actions needed to improve these water quality conditions.
