The Spokane-Coeur d′Alene watershed encompasses about 6,600 square miles in northeastern Washington and northern Idaho. The Spokane River runs 111 miles from the headwaters at Lake Coeur d′Alene to the Columbia River. This publication provides an overview of water resources in WRIA 57: water availability, water quality, watershed planning and Shoreline Master Program.
