Publication Summary

The Department of Ecology (Ecology) prepared this report on water conservancy boards (boards) to comply with RCW 90.80.150. The statute states, "The department shall report biennially by December 31st of each even-numbered year to the appropriate committees of the legislature on the boards formed or sought to be formed under the authority of this chapter, the transfer applications reviewed and other activities conducted by the boards, and the funding of such boards. Conservancy Boards must provide information regarding their activities to the department to assist the department in preparing the report." Ecology submitted a report on boards to the Legislature every even numbered year since 2000. This is the fifth report.
