Short Description

This FEIS satisfies State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) requirements to evaluate the potential environmental effects of wetland banking and the specific thresholds or procedures published in the final rule.

Ecology developed the wetland banking certification rule to meet legislative directive in the Wetlands Mitigation Banking Law, Chapter 90.84 RCW. This law requires Ecology to develop a statewide rule for the certification of wetland mitigation banks.
