Abstract Long Description

The Army Corps of Engineers and the King County Flood Control District have warned residents, businesses, and farms below the Howard Hanson Dam to prepare for a higher risk of flooding. Areas that could be flooded include parts of Auburn, Kent, Renton, South Seattle and Tukwila.

This document summarizes the key actions Ecology has and will take to prepare for and respond to Green River flooding as part of Governor Gregoire's Directive 09-14, "Preparing for Potential Green River Flooding."
