The Packaging Action Plan ws developed by the packaging Task Force under legislative authority grant by Chapter 431, Section 48, 1989 Laws of Washington, a part of the Waste Not Washginton Act. The plan identified methods of reducing the volume, wieght and toxicity of packaging entering the waste stream, increasing its recyclability, and increasing use of recycled content in its manufacture. | |
