The Washington State Department of Ecology plans to remove the Maple Lane School cleanup site from the Hazardous Sites List (see below). The Maple Lane School is located at 20311 Old Highway 9 SW in Centralia, WA. This site was cleaned up under the Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP). Ecology reviewed a summary of the cleanup actions taken at the site to determine if the cleanup was complete. Ecology is asking for your comments on the No Further Action opinion letter issued in December 2008, and the Current Site Condition Summary Report. Public comments will be accepted March 2 through April 2, 2009. | |||
