Short Description

The Washington State Department of Ecology prepared this fact sheet to provide information about the Taxiway F cleanup site located at the Skagit Regional Airport, Skagit County, Washington. The Taxiway F cleanup site is an area where crop-dusting operations occurred between 1978 and about 2000. The Taxiway F site is formally known as and entered into Ecology databases as the Skagit County Port site. In April 2009, Ecology and the Port of Skagit County entered into an agreement called an Agreed Order. Under this Agreed Order, the Port of Skagit County agrees to conduct a Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS). Public comments will be accepted April 10, 2009, May 11, 2009.
