A water quality model of Lake Whatcom, Washington (see Figure 1 and Figure 2)was developed as part of a Total Maximum Daily Load Study for the Washington Department of Ecology. This report summarizes model development. Also discussed are issues relative to the calibration effort. Calibration focused on model predictions of hydrodynamics (flow and water level), temperature, and water quality. The model calibration period was from February 14, 2002 to December 31, 2003. | |||
