For the last 40 years, farmers in the Odessa Subarea have relied on groundwater to irrigate crops. Due to a rapidly declining aquifer, their ability to irrigate is at risk. Through conversation, storage and delivery of surface water supplies, Ecology is working to protect Washington Farmers.
