Short Description

This total maximum daily load (TMDL) report addresses water temperatures within the Pend Oreille River in response to observations of chronically elevated temperatures at levels exceeding the river′s specific criteria. Elevated temperatures result in impacts to salmonid spawning, rearing, and migration, which is the designated use established for the river and protected by the water quality standards.
