The Washington Department of Ecology Nuclear Waste Program, the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency hosted a State of the Hanford Site meeting on March 29, 2011 in Seattle. The public was invited to hear about the progress, challenges and priorities of environmental cleanup at Hanford and to voice their questions and concerns. More than 100 people attended the meeting.
