| Short Description |
The Washington State Agricultural Chemicals Pilot Study provides reconnaissance information on the presence and concentrations of pesticides in Washington's groundwater. The study consists of sampling groundwater from three areas, each considered susceptible to groundwater contamination from agricultural chemicals. The study areas range in size from 10 to 35 square miles and are located in Whatcom, Franklin, and Yakima Counties. Twenty-seven shallow wells in each study area were tested for 46 pesticides. | |||
