This Focus Sheet discusses facilities that report under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning / Community Right-to-Know Act, or that generate more than 2,640 pounds of hazardous waste per year, and who must prepare comprehensive hazardous substance use/hazardous waste reduction plans. These plans need to address specific questions about current hazardous substance use, waste reduction, recycling, treatment activities, analysis of further reduction opportunities, and five year performance goals. Chapter 173-307 WAC, Hazardous Waste Facility Plans, details all of the planning requirements. | |
