Chapter 70.95E RCW and its implementing rule, adopted as Chapter 173-305 WAC, require that certain hazardous waste generators or potential generators and hazardous substance users pay two fees. The Hazardous Waste Education Fee is an annual fee charged to every known and potential generator of hazardous waste doing business in Washington. Ecology charges the Hazardous Waste Planning Fee to those facilities required to prepare plans for the reduction of hazardous substance use and hazardous waste generation. | |
