In February 1994 Total Reclaim, Inc. was selected by the Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) to evaluate commercially available refrigerant recovery equipment, to describe proper handling, processing, and management procedures for the hazardous materials found in appliances, and to conduct a survey of hazardous waste management companies and recycling services which dispose of-materials found in appliances.
