Short Description

This document is one in a series describing the results of ground water sampling at Lakewood/Plaza Cleaners. The sampling program was designed by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's contractor, CH2M Hill, as part of the Lakewood Remedial Action (CH2M Hill 1990a, b). Ecology has conducted the semi-annual ground water sampling at the site since 1991. The objective of this sampling is to collect ground water quality data for the Toxics Cleanup Program to evaluate the effectiveness of Lakewood supply wells H1 and H2 to contain and remove contaminated ground water caused by Plaza Cleaners. Samples were collected on January 17-18, 1996 from one municipal well and eight monitoring wells. All samples were analyzed for volatile organics.
