This annual solid waste report reflects conditions and activities in solid waste in Washington state. Chapter 1 discusses the reasons for changes being made to the solid waste regulatory system in the state and what some of the proposed changes are. The chapter also includes the recommendations of the Litter Task Force which was formed in response to increased litter in the state and a brief summary of solid waste funding expenditures by local governments. | |
