The Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) proposes to approve the "Draft Final Phase II Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study (RI/FS) Work Plan" for the Western Farm Service, Inc., Glade Road Facility. Western Farm Service, Inc., (WFS) is an agricultural chemical distribution facility located on Glade Road North near Pasco, Washington. The Draft RI/FS Work Plan was submitted to satisfy the requirements of Ecology's Agreed Order No. DE 97TC-E104 issued under the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulation (Chapter 173-340 WAC). The Order was issued to the Potentially Liable Persons (PLPs) for the facility on January 16, 1998. Ecology invites the public to review and comment on the proposed Draft RI/FS Work Plan December 4, 1998 through January 4, 1999. | |||
