| Short Description |
The Columbia River Gorge Commission has published a management plan including a provision that existing levels of visibility in the area shall not be degraded. This report contains data analyses that characterize and compare existing levels of visibility at the east and west ends of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area by looking at concurrent data from the two sites. It identifies those pollutants that have a negative effect on visibility during the study period (9/1/96 - 8/31/97). The report includes recommendations on further actions to be taken to comply with visibility requirements. | |
