Groundwater, surface water and soil samples were collected between October 1997 and July 1998 at the Hamilton/Labree Roads Perchloroethylene (PCE) site located three miles southwest of Chehalis, Washington. These samples were collected to investigate the distribution and concentration of localized PCE contaminated groundwater. Groundwater samples were collected quarterly over the monitoring period from eight monitoring wells and six private wells. Surface water samples were collected from Berwick Creek in April and July 1998. In January 1998, soil samples were collected from the property with the highest PCE contaminated drinking water. All samples were collected and analyzed for volatile organics (VOAs). |
