Short Description

The Determination of Significance and Scoping Notice form is used to document an agency′s decision that a proposal is likely to have a significant adverse environmental impact. It is used to notify the other agencies and the public that an environmental impact statement (EIS) will be prepared and to invite comments on the issues to be discussed in the EIS. (The form is in WAC 197-11-970. The procedures for issuing a scoping notice are contained in WAC 197-11-408 and 410.)
