If you spill oil into state waters, you can receive credit for any oil you recover, IF you follow the guidelines described in this publication. The volume of oil you recover can directly and significantly affect the amount of the Resource Damage Assessment (RDA) claim made against you. Following these guidelines will make estimating the volume of oil recovered generally simple and cost effective, even for small spills. | |
